In a newly published interview, Seth shared rare insights into his history with Mana Sama and his role in Moi dix Mois.
He recalled meeting Mana just before MALICE MIZER’s Budokan show, after being introduced to him by Mana’s cousin, Katsuo: “The room was dimly lit… I remember thinking, ‘Isn’t this person kind of creepy?’ (laughs)”
Seth said joining Moi dix Mois felt “meant to be” explaining that he sings by imagining how Mana himself would interpret each song: “If Mana were singing this song, this is how he would sing it”
On the band’s dark aesthetic, he noted: “For Seth, the eyepatch is essential! Darkness, evil, elegance”
Asked why the band still has no music videos, he replied: “Just come to watch us live, see it, and experience it for yourself!”
And when it comes to new Moi dix Mois music, Seth raised hopes: “How about it? I’m really looking forward to it as well”
He also expressed a strong wish to meet overseas fans again: “If I get a chance to perform abroad, I hope fans nearby will come to enjoy our show!”
