After 26 years, KERA SHOP Shinjuku has announced it will permanently close on September 27, 2026. Opened in 2000, the store became one of Japan’s most iconic destinations for gothic, Lolita, and Visual Kei fashion.
The closure is especially significant for Moi-même-Moitié fans, as KERA SHOP was one of the brand’s main retailers. The store even preserved the iconic metal gate from the original Moitié boutique, along with a display dedicated to Mana Sama’s brand, making it a must-visit spot for fans from around the world. It also hosted numerous events and appeared in countless promotional videos over the years.
While KERA SHOP will continue selling books online, it is currently unknown where fans will be able to purchase Moitié items in person after the closure. We expect the brand to announce its future retail plans soon.
