In a recent interview with the Japanese site USEN, GACKT talked about his current stage style and directly referenced his time in MALICE MIZER.
He was asked about how controlled and precise his performances feel today:
Usen: “When I saw ‘Maou Symphony’ at the end of last year, what stood out was the beauty of how every single movement, even down to your fingertips, felt meticulously calculated. Lastly, what do you keep in mind when performing?”
GACKT: “Hmm… for example, the way I carry myself isn’t something I consciously think about. It’s something I’ve been doing since my MALICE MIZER days. Back then I was probably aware of it, but now I do it unconsciously.”
